Human Performance for Writing Investigations
course description
Integrating Human Performance principles into pharmaceutical investigations helps organizations move beyond assigning blame and instead understand how workplace conditions, system weaknesses, and human factors contributed to an error or deviation. By examining workload, procedures, training effectiveness, equipment design, communication, and environmental conditions, investigators can identify the root causes that shaped human actions. This approach leads to more effective, sustainable corrective actions, reducing recurrence and strengthening overall product quality, compliance, and patient safety. This eight-hour course is delivered with several exercises that allow participants the opportunity to gain experience with investigation techniques using concepts discussed in the class.
