Course Description
This six-hour course covers advanced cleaning and cleaning validation concepts that are used in the pharmaceutical industry. This course focuses on clean-in-place equipment and cleaning agents that help make for an effective contamination control strategy (CCS). Because residues may frequently be left behind, effective cleaning and changeover strategies are presented to eliminate the probability of cross-contamination on surfaces. Cleanability studies are discussed so participants will understand the need to effectively remove and test for these contaminants and residues. The course is presented as part of an overall contamination control mindset for those attending.
