Chemistry basics

Course Description

This eight-hour course will highlight the basic concepts of chemistry and chemical principles that will help the novice understand the processes behind the products that their companies manufacture. Elementary concepts will be covered with the intent to familiarize employees with the terminology frequently used, the basics of inorganic, organic, and biochemistry principles that are used in drug discovery, and the common uses of these to formulate medicines that will help the customers that companies serve. No previous chemistry background is required to understand the course materials.
