course description
This course provides an overview of the many concepts that help participants understand how aseptic processing challenges can assist in producing safe, effective, and quality products. This two-day course focuses on why aseptic processing is important, controlled environments, contamination control techniques, environmental monitoring, cleaning and disinfection, component preparation, sterilization methods, drug formulation and compounding, and the principles of filtration. Depending on the location for delivery, there are some important hands-on laboratory opportunities for participants who sit in this class.
